Services
Every horse is different - and so is the reason people contact me.
You may have a horse that simply feels a little stiff or uneven, a competition horse you want to keep feeling its best, or a horse with a much more complicated history where you feel there is still something missing from the picture.
My approach looks at the whole horse - not simply the area where the problem appears to be.
If you’re unsure which option is right for you, just get in touch. I’m happy to point you in the right direction.
Individual Appointments
For horses needing assessment, treatment or ongoing support.
People commonly contact me because they have noticed things such as:
stiffness or reduced movement
asymmetry
recurring tension or restriction
changes in way of going
unexplained performance issues
changes in behaviour that may be linked to discomfort
a problem that keeps returning despite previous treatment
You don’t need to know exactly what is wrong before you book.
That is the point of the assessment.
Ongoing & Maintenance Care
Some horses benefit from regular appointments rather than waiting until something becomes an obvious problem.
This can be particularly useful for horses in regular training or competition, older horses, and horses with known areas that need monitoring.
How often I see your horse depends entirely on the individual - there is no standard treatment schedule.
Intensive Residential Programmes
For more complicated cases, horses can stay with me in North Lincolnshire for a short intensive programme.
This gives me the opportunity to observe the horse over several days, reassess between treatments and use multiple sessions where appropriate rather than trying to achieve everything within one appointment.
Residentials are particularly useful for horses with longstanding or recurring problems, or cases where a little more time and investigation are needed.
Programmes are usually arranged over several days to 1–2 weeks depending on the horse.
Yard Visits
I travel to yards throughout the UK.
If several horses at the same yard would like appointments, a yard visit can often be arranged.
I also travel further afield for individual horses and more complex cases where practical.
Working Alongside Your Vet & Other Professionals
Some cases need more than one pair of eyes.
I am very happy to work alongside your veterinary surgeon, farrier, dentist, trainer or other members of your horse’s professional team.
If something I find makes me feel further veterinary investigation would be sensible, I will tell you.
Equally, if your horse already has veterinary findings, imaging or a rehabilitation plan, these can be considered as part of the wider picture.
1-to-1 Zoom Consultations
Not able to travel to me — or based overseas?
I also offer individual Zoom consultations for horse owners and equine professionals.
Before we meet, I review your horse’s history, photographs, movement videos and veterinary information where available.
We can then use the consultation to look at the bigger picture, discuss what you are seeing and decide what would be useful to investigate or do next.
Not sure what you need?
You do not need to choose the perfect service before contacting me.
Tell me a little about your horse, where you are based and what has been happening, and I’ll advise you on the most appropriate next step.
